USDT transfer decision guide
Which network should I use to send USDT?
Choose the USDT network that the sending exchange and receiving exchange both support. Do not choose a network only because it looks cheap.
| Step | What to check | Why it matters |
|---|---|---|
| 1 | Receiving exchange deposit page | This is the final source of truth for supported USDT networks. |
| 2 | Sending exchange withdrawal page | The same network must be available on the sending side. |
| 3 | Fee ratio | A 1 USDT fee is small for 1,000 USDT but expensive for 20 USDT. |
| 4 | Memo/tag and minimum deposit | Missing requirements can delay or lose a deposit. |
Recommended workflow
- Open the receiving exchange deposit page for USDT.
- Write down the exact network name shown there.
- Open the sending exchange withdrawal page and choose the same network.
- Use the fee calculator to check whether the fee ratio is acceptable.
- For a new route, send a small test transfer first.
